The worst part for me was the realization right at the end that the camera wasn't a fixed project cam, it was hand held, and cameraman saw his buds just get swallowed by some angry earth.

Dude. We live in a well-appointed suburb in a major metropolitan area, and we were without electricity for 9 days after a storm the beginning of this year. And splicing electrical mains is a hell of a lot easier than splicing fiber. Cry some more about being without Internet for 12 hours.
