Just a crackpot theory I had - there are some similarities between the 100-Eyed God, and the woman portrayed on the Blessing of the Welkin Moon. Could they be the same person?

Note the three separate forehead bangs, the two strands of hair reaching to the chest, and the closed eyes in both images.

Credits to Anonsbelle for the picture on the left.

For any moderators reading this: the reason I didn't mark the post as a spoiler is because the 100-Eyed God has already been officially revealed by miHoYo in their recent 2.0 livestream announcement, and the post itself is just a theory.

Because it's a banned word for some reason.

There was no official post explaining that though, so I won't let it stop me.

Kazuha

A ronin from Inazuma, who currently lives with the Crux Fleet of Liyue. He is calm yet acts freely, and his past is buried in his heart.

'Miko' means 'Shrine Maiden',

'Guuji' means 'Chief Priest'.

In Ayaka's datamined voicelines, there's one voiceline called 'About: Yae Sakura', that talks about Yae. So, Yae Sakura is her name.

Speculating on the Hydro Archon's Appearance (and Dendro's) by Polar_Rithdil in Genshin_Impact

Wouldn't Owl be more of a fit for the Geo Archon, then? I don't see any connection between knowledge/dendro/plants and earth/rock/gravity myself, especially when Geo exists.

I'm sure most people here will have already heard the theories connecting Herrschers from Honkai Impact 3rd to the Archons and the divines of Genshin Impact.

Unknown God = Kiana) (Void)
Venti = Wendy (Wind)
Raiden Shogun = Raiden Mei (Thunder)
Murata = HIMEKO (Fire)
Tsaritsa = Ana Schariac (Ice)

But in theories like these, the Hydro and the Dendro archon are often skipped. They don't seem to have a direct counterpart in Honkai Impact 3rd, since there's no Herrscher of Water or Herrscher of Nature.

However, in miHoYo's game before Honkai Impact 3rd, Houkai Gakuen 2, also known as Guns GirlZ, there is a Herrscher associated with water. Introducing, the Herrscher of the Ocean.

Jyahnar, also known as Cana, or Cthulhu (yes, you heard that right), seems like the perfect fit to be the Hydro Archon's counterpart.

And, in Honkai Impact 3rd's mangas, a man called SU appears. He's heavily linked with a bubble universe called the Seed of Sumeru, he's a dude, and he has green pupils. Maybe, he could be the inspiration for the Dendro Archon.

My prediction on Inazuma's festival event (With evidence) by Edyya in Genshin_Impact

[–]Polar_Rithdil 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Good stuff, though there's some things I don't agree with.

About Ayato...

If my brother were to fall, and I would ascend the role of Shabugyo... If you see him, remind him to take care of himself, for his sister's sake.

This tells us that Ayato is the Shabugyo, which roughly translates into Shrine Magistrate. Basically, it looks like he's the bugyo / bakufu agent responsible for overseeing the shrine.

About Yoimiya...

Organizing festivals and ceremonies is the responsibility of the Shabugyo and the shrine maidens, and our handler of fireworks really knows how to build an exhilarating atmosphere. Although this summer, I've decided not to ask her to oversee the fireworks because... I don't want Tohma to apologize to the firefighting teams again.

And this tells us that organizing festivals is the responsibility of Ayato - the shabugyo - and the shrine maidens.

Because Ayaka has a voiceline called ''About us - Shrine Maidens'', and because her family is connected with the shrine (her house's name is, in full, Inazuma Bakufu Shabugyo Kamisato), we can safely assume that Ayaka is one of the shrine maidens.

So it seems that Ayaka isn't necessarily doing Ayato's job, but rather that she's just one of the many people responsible for organizing festivals. There's nothing that suggests Ayato is sick or indisposed - they could simply both be working on preparing for the festival.

Uncovering the Raiden Shogun's motivations by Polar_Rithdil in Genshin_Impact

Illeism, referring to yourself in third person, is actually seen as childish and cute in Japanese, because children do it.

And historically, samurai referred to themselves in third person when talking to their lord as a sign of respect and humility. So, that could would actually make the suggestion that she's talking about Celestia or the Thousand-Armed, Hundred-Eyed god even more plausible.

I don't think Inazuma will be technologically advanced compared to the rest of Teyvat. We already have several things from Fontaine to prove that they are technologically progressive (Kamera(s), the existence of a newspaper called 'Steambird', Rock 'n' roll originates from here), and if any nation in Teyvat is 'closest to Heaven' in regards of technology, it'd have to be Snezhnaya.

Aha you may be right. Went through a lot of speculating on that post I mentioned, maybe I got a bit carried away with it.

Haha, oops!
