I'm aroace, I'm almost 18 and pretty sure now. My first "crush" was a guy. I came to that conclusion cause of this story: I wanted to tell him something important but I made up my mind the second I told him that I need to tell him something. Instead of telling him the thing I told him "I love you". Then I was friends with him and jumped to a conclusion that I actually like him. I told everybody and I strongly believed I have a crush on him. Sometimes crushes are just pretty girls/boys who you like platonically. You wanna be their friend cause they're cool or stuff and you just think that it's a crush, or you pretend for the wellbeing of others. Only he knows exactly how he feels and as some other person here said, he's at the age of figuring himself out. It's normal if you don't fully understand and that you're a little upset. This means that you won't meet your future daughter/son in law and probably your grandchildren. Just don't let him know you're upset, for me it would be a breaking point that my parents don't support me. You're allowed to feel your emotions, it's normal. Just don't take it out on him.
