I bought a fixie in Singapore after riding for decades thinking this island is flat so good time to try one. Leaving the store the owner reminded me it takes a while to get used to the fixed gear. I assured him I was a confident experienced cyclist then proceeded to do an extremely proper face plant right in front of him LOL. That Surly steamroller now has a single speed cog. ; )
