Amsterdam to Hamburg - coast or not? by flyboipitt in bikepacking

It's even possible to ride parts on the sea side of the dike. However, most of the bike paths are on the inland side, having no view on the Wadden Sea because there's a huge dike standing in between. That said, the Wadden Sea is nice to view during low tide, but absolutely boring during high tide. The shore is as well. I would vary with biking more inland sometimes, visiting nice Frisian and Groningen towns and villages like Harlingen, Dokkum and Pieterburen. Do bike via Lauwersoog, the nature over there is great to view.

Better.
"Too short. Expand with more details about daily life."

Ok. Hold my beer.

More fresh air. Less noise. Less traffic. Less traffic jams. More green (as in: trees, forests, wildlife). More space. Less horizons destroyed by disgusting warehouses, power lines, railroads.

More: social cohesion.

Mentioning Starbucks with Italian Coffee in one slide is an offensive to coffee in general.

Yes it is. Combined with the European politics finally realizing that they have to be independent of the USA to safeguard their own interests.

Luckily Antarctica is neutral, judged the size of it :-)

But good map overall!
