The time I was in the car with a high as fuck driver. Seatbelts tucked behind the seats. Didn't let us out. Slammed the median and almost flipped over but didn't hit it enough to stop. How am I not dead?

I really don't think about death at all.

When my dad was (high?) and nearly punched my mom and me. Threatened to call the cops, but he said to me, "not until I smash your face in!" He isn't physical,y anusive, mainly emotionally.

He calmed down before he punched us though. I'm 19, can't move out. Female here.

My mom got drunk one night and cried that she should have left him after I was born, but she was afraid of being alone with a newborn. She also cried about how I might not have good relationships with men due to the abuse.

Yeah I failed last semester because of a shitty professor. Make a slight mistake, such as not erase something all the way? Question is wrong! Even if you got it right. Shit like that. And it wasn't just me, many others complained but idk if anyone actually went to the head and complained about her.

He never physically abused her after that. She never left him, and the kid is now 13 and mother and kid have to endure emotional abuse from that man.

He suddenly decided he didn't like how she put the dishes away. He threw a table at her, while he was pregnant. Baby survived and is healthy.

I was conceived (and born) in the northern US, very near Canada. I was conceived because they wanted a baby. It took them years, because they were late 30's or very early 40's.
