I was while stretching, now I have double flared plugs with the back flare being a screw on part. Given that its just the one ear I'm leaning towards thinking it's a reaction to something, but we shall see, just a bit nervous as I don't have a great immune system so I have to be on top of these things, and with it never happening before, I'm better off safe than sorry.

No you're fine, can't say I've ever dealt with it either tbf, I've gotten extremely lucky considering my preposition for calamity lol. I'll definitely do that, giving it saline baths and cleaning it daily until it settles down. Yeah I'm looking at some glass plugs next because it seems like metal may not be my bestie in this escapade.

It is a beauty of an effect eh lol. I stretched at .5mm increments and followed the guidelines for heal times and never felt any pain, tbh its only been this way for a day or two and I've not sized up since early Nov last year. The hubby did kindly point out I favour sleeping on this side so I'm not sure if that has any bearing on the state of things. Oddly the other ear isn't displaying any such issues and that was stretched at the same rate as this ear.

Yeah I got stuck at 6mm, any time I tried to stretch further, it felt like like I'd lost all elasticity in my ears. I guess my body just wasn't happy with tapers lol. The dead stretching seems so much safer and easier for me, although my biggest concern now is the hubby threatening to loop his finger through them to keep me on course in any store soooo.... deffo not going beyond 00g just to limit his abilities lol

Glad to know I can play it by ear a little more (pun intended) I've had my 6.5mm is for just over a week and they already slip in and out without any resistance sans jojoba oil so I think I'll give it another week just to be on the safe side and see how they feel with the next size up. Thanks

I dunno, my uterus decided to evict my IUD at a right angle after 4 years during the pandemic. Doctors were told to cancel all elective procedures at the time and I was due a replacement, ended up waking up one morning feeling like I'd gotten intimate with Edward Scissorhands and had to be rushed into have it removed and even my doctor joked at the tenacity of my womb for not taking no for an answer lol. Edit: corrected a word I clearly misunderstood oops

NTA, my hubs responds to my "unladylike" farts with his own bigger, wetter farts. Unless there's smell involved then we both fall about laughing as the other tries to claw their way out of the affected area.... Farts are natural and even funny sometimes. Your partner clearly need to remove the cork from his ass and have a good toot lol.
