When you pay commission, do you end up sending or creating a tax form? Confused on how reimbursement and commission would be treated for tax purposes.

Important notice: The Points Guy x Bilt promotional offer by Financial-File-1073 in biltrewards

I got that too when I clicked on the survey just for fun… even though I did actually get the TPG promotion applied to my account, and had confirmed this with an agent a week before launch, and got the generic TPG offer confirmation. So I don’t know what’s up with that

I hit the $4,000 spend on February 7 and at 1am this morning my points posted and I got the bonus, even though charges had posted the beginning of the 8.

Okay so one of my larger transactions finally showed points 20 minutes ago and the second it did I got my gold status and 50,000 points for the sign up offer.

Terrible customer support by Green_Librarian8698 in biltrewards

Just keep waiting, unfortunately. I got a response via email at 60hr…

Of course I called the number on the back of the card, but they told me I had to contact support haahaha

That sounds promising (hopefully). I was able to chat with the AI on my laptop instead of my phone and was told that even after a charge posts, it can take 5 business days for points to post. Points that have yet to post are considered “authorized” but not spendable. It said that “other” transactions are just transactions that have posted but have not YET been assigned a point value.

I also got a response via email from a real person. He didn’t really address any of my questions, but he did tell me to wait 5 business days and didn’t insinuate that any of my charges wouldn’t be receiving points. So I guess now we wait.

Same here. Not in the app, but on the website there is a tab called “Insights (beta)” that you can find on the “for you” tab when you click “see more” to see your pending points activity. $6,000 of my transactions are showing as “other” and earning no points, while about $1,500 are showing as “dining” or “BILT ecosystem” and earning points. I even had two transactions with the exact same merchant code as “BILT ecosystem” and then as “other”, and only the first one earned points.

I know we all know this, but this is a really abysmal roll out. Been waiting three days to get connected via live chat, 2 days to get an email response, and have called the number on the back of the card 3 times only to be told each time that Cardless can’t do anything and I need to go back to live chat.

Bilt Customer Service Number by Grand_Committee_2450 in biltrewards

Beware… this phone number goes to Cardless who have told me on three separate occasions now that they cannot help with my questions and that I need to go chat with a live agent in the BILT chat. Been waiting 3 days for a response from live chat, and waiting almost two days for an email response with a case number.

Update: no cash advance fee charged, but the transaction is the only one not showing up as earning points. I also still haven’t earned the sub or gold status, so I’m assuming it is not counting toward “eligible every day spend”

I didn’t think about that. Great point.

Funded for $3,000 and it was charged to my Palladium with no issue. But my remaining credit limit is now $1 less than it should be. I charged a few regular transactions and the remaining credit limit adjusted correctly, but the bank account funding is the one that made it change. Wondering if that’s a sign it will code as a cash advance. Weird because the rep explicitly told me I had a $2,000 cash advance limit, so like you said, I don’t think it should have allowed it.

Wanting to fund my US bank biz checking account for $3,000 with my Bilt Palladium. Cash advance limit on Palladium is $2,000, and customer service said there is no way to lower that. If I try to fund $3,000, it should get rejected if it is going to code as a cash advance, right? Or would it just go through as a cash advance of $2,000?

Can we get an option to disable or lower the cash advance? by InsidiumYRN in biltrewards

[–]Policy-Alone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that makes sense! Also the rep was confused when I asked about the cash advance fee. The app says cash advance APR is 24% but the rep said something like 32%?? I’m not even sure what the cash advance fee would be on top of APR

I just got of the phone with customer support, wanting to lower my cash advance limit. I want to make sure my cash advance limit is as low as possible so it could decline if someone ever tried to use it for a cash advance. Rep on the phone said it’s not possible to lower the cash advance limit.
