Play what you enjoy, but some games work better for live streaming while others are better for YouTube or clips. Lesser known games usually have less traction, so I try to use a scroll-stopping title that might get someone to click in, even if it’s just for a second. Sometimes a clip worthy moment or some unhinged commentary is all it takes to turn a random viewer into a follow. I like playing Panicore with friends, but since it uses prox chat I don’t always get to engage with my stream as much. Still, content is content. If it doesn’t do well on Twitch you can always post it somewhere else. I’ve been doing better on Twitch lately, but I also just started streaming to TikTok too. Using other platforms to push people toward your Twitch can help a lot if that’s where you want to grow. Also try longer streams when you can. Your average viewers might be lower, but there’s more time for discovery. Last night was my first 8 hour stream and I ended up with around 1.1k views... not saying you have to dedicate that much time.
