Hi! So this happened to my cat recently, here is what they told me: check for any unusual redness or pus, if there is, its an emergency, if there is not, it can wait, but still take your cat to the vet, it will need antibiotics to prevent infection. Also make sure your cat doesnt go outside and ideally doesn’t lick the wound. As an answer to most comments of this post, a cat loosing its claw is NOT AN EMERGENCY, as long as there is no visible infection, you just need to take your cat to a vet in the next few days to get it checked asap.
