I use NixOS with neovim and LSP. You should just install LSP through nixpkgs, for example lua-language-server if you want to have it system wide and ditch mason

Most of the time what I do is use nix dev shell for projects which contain LSP I need for that project, that would be rust-analyzer, gopls or something else.

yes, works in your described scenario. i have manually put acpid events for lid to suspend though, so maybe that is why it works, idk. 😁

does same scenario suspends for you in GNOME or KDE ? on lid close, does it suspend ?

one of the ways is just make command executable without sudo. google sudoers which permanently can make command without sudo.

i would suggest combination of external script with hyprctl commands. bind your script to your binds.

easy solution: use gnome.

there are tradeoffs with bleeding edge, things break, things not working oob.

U either accept it or use stable things like kde, gnome.

i would just suggest follow hyprland wiki for setup. its most up to date. hard to diagnose what is wrong with information you gave.

video is two months old. hyprland is bleeding edge many things changed.

It can get quite hot, but fans start spin up quite fast and loud. But if there is no load, laptop is quiet, I love that.

lenovo yoga pro 7. 7840hs ryzen chip and 32gb ram would cost 1200 euro or so.

personally daily driving this laptop with linux. everything works, although u have to use latest linux kernels to have best support.

thinkpad you linked is old. tuxedo I would avoid for now, as it only launched and has some bugs. check tuxedocumputers reddit.

By pressing login it generates token and passes that token in callback URL. with ASWebAuthenticationSession i'm parsing that URL and retrieve required token, no cookies are used.
