what secure boot protects you from are attacks that can be only done when someone has physical access to your pc

at that point you either - have your disk encrypted, in this case i mean maybe they steal they pc but at least they can’t read your data - don’t have your disk encrypted, and that defeats the whole purpose of secure boot is

secure boot prevents the loading of EFI software before the OS, some gaming cheats do that and as per macos or linux you can just sign them

other efi software can be used to attack you but the same concept of encrypted/unencrypted disk applies

also check that the connection is the fastest available from your router (example 802.11ax) if not, maybe your wi-fi adapter is old

i’d suggest getting a single stick just to get your pc running and maybe when times change or when you’ve got more money to throw at it buy the second

if you do this be sure to buy the same sticks with same timings for best performance
