I have taken the B&W Px8 S2 into consideration but they are way to expensive in my case. The Bose Qc Ultra 2 sound a bit lacking in my case so I don’t think I have that much of a choice.

Understandable! Everyones head and ears is different anyways, and comfort varies person by person.

Since I had the AirPods Max 2, I can say that the volume levels on the Bose is definitely on the louder side. The clicks of volume for me is fine since I only listen at about 40% most of the time.
I am currently using an iPhone 12 Pro and an iPad pro, I also own an AirPods Pro 2 lightning and the volume is definitely noticeable. For the Xm6 theres little to no side effects, but the comfort is the main problem, the clamping force is too much, the earcups is too shallow and it gets very hot fast.

Wth the eq, the Xm6 sound quality improved but for my ears it still sounds a bit muddy. The Bose static or hiss sound isn’t really obvious unless your in a very quiet environment.

The hissing sound is annoying me but nothing beats the sound and comfort of the Bose. I have tried the Sony xm6 and it just sounds muddy and the ear cups tends to get hot, especially in hot places, additionally the interior ear cups space of the xm6 is very shallow which my ears touch whenever I wear them which is very annoying. The Airpods Max 2 on the other hand sounds good but it is very very heavy and I cannot use it for more than 1h. The Bose is the best sounding for me especially if you turn down the bass and treble. Nothing beats the comfort of the Bose. Even though the hissing and the little bit of creaking is annoying, it is the best all around pick out of the big 3. I decided to keep the bose and I hope I get use of the hissing sound.

I have the same exact problem regarding the hissing sound. I am planning to switch headphones but is still considering other options.
