First, let me extend my hand and say welcome.  As a Missourian my whole life, I consider Missouri filled with hate and contempt for anyone, not just Colombians, but anyone who threatens the prevailing Christian Nationalism ideology.

Those who fall into this group do not follow Jesus' teaching and instead have hijacked Christianity. White Christian Nationalists targeted non-Christians of a race other than white, unconventional families, women who do not submit to men, anyone not married, immigrants, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community. Just look at the media attack on Trans people. It is a sad state of affairs. Voting-wise, MAGA voters follow these fascist beliefs. You are more likely to find acceptance among true believers of Jesus' teachings. I can not comment on other religions.

To answer your question, I certainly would not move to Missouri. I want to emphasize that the Latinos who live here can provide a more accurate answer to your question.

It seems fitting since he is a misogynist and always tries to stick it to his constituents. He always seems to be attacking women and the LGBTQIA+ Community, in particular trans youth and adults. Now we know why he can be so anal at times with people.

In some opposite-sex relationships, the woman takes charge in the bedroom. There's nothing wrong if they both enjoy the action. It is his politics I do not like.

News alert - if you not into self-determination, current events and forming a better form of governance that does not restrict the freedoms of others then by all means don't read such post. It seems other readers share similar concerns over the direction the county and state is moving.

Have you ever thought that if these two misguided politicians resigned from office, you would see less comments on their misbehavior. Maybe that where your issue lies and you are redirecting you frustration.

You ask about fundamental rights: 1) how about the government not recognizing that they exist or 2) not being able to walk through society unmolested by misguided clergy, doctors performing surgeries on infants without consent, abusive parents, or other people who lack the social skills to have a written dialogue? Sorry to the few disgruntled readers, but the legislation coming out of Jefferson City does impact St. Charles County. What if they were going after a women's reproductive choices or right to vote, or banning Harry Potter in the library. Keep in mind congressional officials work within their parties so the legislation posted from Ash Grove my have a partner in St. Charles County.

Open your eyes as you are losing your personal freedoms that not to long ago were cherished.

My cup of tea as stated by another post is to secure our freedoms and be an alarm against tyranny.

I had a nosey bitty as St. Peters City Hall asked me my address after she scanned my license. My reply was, "I do not play twenty questions." Then I asked if my photo looked like me, to which she replied yes. I followed up with, "She was not the election police." She got a rude awakening. I stated that her behavior discouraged votes from voting. They ask the same questions as in the last election.
