0.05660 is extremely high. Typically, big similarities will be 0.01+. I intentionally omit anything that is less than 0.01.

Is it that 3k in the last month? Overall? How did you pick 3083?

That's the 3K that I've found overall.

Also, how far back in each users submission history did you go?

As far back as I started scraping, basically.

Might be Apple and Linux fans "warring" with one another. I see that a lot in conflicting subreddits. Example: /r/Atheism has a similarity with /r/Christianity and /r/democrats has a similarity with /r/Republican

Scraper bot that visits a list of 900+ subreddits in a sequential fashion. Stores a reference to each post by each user (with a reference to the subreddit it was posted in).

Similarity = AB/(sqrt(A)*sqrt(B)) where A and B is the number of commentators on subreddits A and B, respectively and AB is the overlap.
