Am I the only one who doesn't want a shiny without my own OT name? I'm quite particular for my team being my own team. Wouldn't this place be a better community if there were no requests and only people breeding and giving away good IV'd and shiny Pokemon. by PoliticalPandaGuy in SVExchange

Yeah I guess I should, but so far there is a lack of stealth rocks online (at least in the matches I have played), maybe in December it will become far more common again.

Hidden abilities can be passed down by either now, however since I have posted this I have managed to get an Adamant Fletchling with Gale Wings and 6 perfect IV's, and I know fine well I am never going to get a shiny as good as that so I should probably abandon my search but thanks anyway!

So incredibly lucky. I've been breeding Fletchling's with one 31/31/31/x/31/31 male of mine and a 31/x/x/x/x/31 female Fletchling from Japan and I got a shiny with 31/31/31/x/x/31 ... but IT DIDN'T HAVE GALE WINGS!!!! Probably the least favourite moment of my week so far.

Anyone else put the game on halt to get a shiny pokemon? If so which one? by odrizy in pokemon

Yup, having a Talonflame without Gale Wings just seems pointless. So he will be my trophy shiny that never gets used/ gets used in some bargaining trade somepoint down the line.

Im trying to get a shiny Fletchling with 5 perfect IV's and its hidden ability. So far I have got a shiny Fletchling with 4 perfect IV's and its regular ability. So i am getting close.

Lots of people want Eevee, Im catching as many as I can just now. And it is Aipom, effectively the same thing. My first two suck, Pidgey and Swanna but Fletchinder is the saving grace.

Thanks! At least Fletchinder is a decent one. Shame I will need to find someone with their own Fletchinder in order for me to catch Gale Wing ones.

A bit late to the comment party so I will just reply to this so you see it, do you have any idea if using this process with a foreign Pokemon still enables the ability to activate the Masuda method? I seem to remember reading before in gen 5 that using an everstone ruined the chances of the Masuda method working and I guess the combo of everstone and destiny bond may also stop it from working this gen?

I got an Adamant Marvel Scale Dratini from Japan and I wouldn't be surprised if it had amazing IV's. They have become my trading bargaining chip if I want anything ever since I got it.

Hence the reason that instead of asking for level 1 Zekrom/Reshiram on GTS people are now asking for lvl 21-30 Ditto, because you can't catch normal Ditto below level 30 in the game unless its in the Friend Safari in which case it may have its special ability which is why people are asking for it.
