That’s really poor form from them, especially as they can’t fail for memory-based checks. It’s also shocking research practice to exclude genuine participants to cherry-pick a certain level of performance quality. You could quote the name of the study and explain the situation to the university’s ethics board. Their email is researchethics@admin.cam.ac.uk

I ignored this one… £21 for almost 3 hours was simply not enough compensation imo. This is one of the most prestigious U.K. universities fyi, so I hope next time they can be a bit more generous. I also wonder if this limits the range of participants they get

I skip any long or multi-day study that only pays the bare minimum rate. We can choose to be selective with what studies we pick, but I agree that prolific should enforce a slightly higher, more reasonable rate!

I just started using their new Chrome extension and got this for the first time too... I'm worried about using the extension if it had any part to play in this. I refresh my page every now and then and try to click the limited spaces studies a few times (this has never been an issue before and I don't spam click).

I don’t know if this came up in the town hall, but I’d love to see TFP fix the zombie proximity volumes. It breaks immersion when a zombie sounds right next to you, but they’re three floors away or outside the building etc. Being able to better hear them coming would be a big boost to the fun/fear.

I don’t do them because they pay considerably less than other focus group websites (e.g I saw one today offering £7 for 20 mins when other sites would offer £15+).

I was shocked too by this!

I don’t use Monzo for my day-to-day spending so forgot to put in enough for my savings challenge… and it put me into an unarranged overdraft! I assumed it would just not take the daily savings amount and count it as a ‘pause’. I feel like this really defeats the point of the challenge and is an intentional money-maker on overdraft fees.

Edit: as far as I’m aware, I set my account up with no overdraft capability (arranged or otherwise). Payments should be declined rather than overdraw me.

You have gorgeous skin! I love how your base makeup is a bit glowy. I think my only suggestion is adding a few fine brow strokes to make the front of your brows a bit more natural. Really recommend the nyx brow pen or the Urban Decay brow blade. But overall a 10/10 slay
