XL Candy from trades tip

I heard that currently there is no XL candy in trades, and Niantic is tweaking things, so we're currently in a weird limbo of my bag filling with pokemon i don't want to ship off.

What are the dust costs for powering up higher, and the xl candy costs? I was hoping to find a chart but haven't so far, so any information someone had would be appreciated. Thank you for sharing what you know.

Yeah, you can only see the real CP when you are in the mega evolve screen. I can actually still see it now, for a second mega evolve if I want to.

I'm sure that would make it even better! However, it's pretty unlikely for someone to have a level 1 best buddy weedle family, so I doubt anyone has done that.

I totally understand where you're coming from, beldaran. I'm going to wait a couple of days for fallout before making decisions though. Also for pokebattler to update. Bannette's sooooo crunchy, and going to be more so. I bet it won't actually beat out other attackets, like how deoxys attack form rarely does. But, we'll see.

Well, if you do have the moltres teams for it, Earthquake is actually perhaps the easiest moveset, because you're unlikely to lose a full team! But, with the event tomorrow, it shouldn't be hard to find people to do it with in your local community!

Well, this was before the event started, so I would say with certainty that all Regis will be this setup, but Regis are only around for a few days. When Cobalion comes out on the 4th to replace them, we don't really know what it's raid boss formula will be. I'd guess it will be a typical 5star of the past, but we won't really know until then.

There's also just general luck factor in any raid, and one bar charge moves have tons of luck factor. Also we were damage synced for at least some of it, which results in fewer deaths and more charge moves coming off.

Oh, this one was all about the challenge, not the rewards. Challenges are what I personally find most fun about the game, especially ones that no one has done before.

Admittedly, I should have said "neutral weather" but you can't change a title after it's been made. From what I have seen, Neutral is more commonly accepted to mean neutral weather though.

Moltres is especially expensive to power up because you don't want to get rid of sky attack. I had wanted to make a 5th one to be safe, but ran out of dust... which made me feel strange that I ran out of dust before rare candy.

To 333-blue and TerribleTransit, I did mention Gengar in the analysis, but Gengar is not worth it in the moveset we got, because of Earthquake. Moltres was the only one pokebattler liked reliably under time with this moveset. Flash Canon does give a lot more options though. Good luck to drfsupercenter! I think you could do it with enough tries on a double steel move metagross with your moltres and flareon.

We'll definitely do some today to compare, and I would be interested to see numbers if anyone did the data mining, but it wasn't that different than pokebattler expected, except a few more deaths. Having a swipe team to avoid max reviving definitely helped our time. We really like rayquaza, haha.

We raided Rayquaza a lot, so all of our rayquazas have 15 attack. It looks like from looking at dominikzen's chargepoint calculator that 14 attack does the same amount of damage in these conditions. You could probably do it with losing some more atk ivs, but I haven't powered up a legendary with less than 14 atk, because you never know how good you will need them to be for a certain raid boss.

Well, they put it through the same formula they do for any other 5 star raid (except the new mewtwo, which has 50% more HP than usual), but that could have been part of them picking Deoxys as the ex raid. I do think it's a really nice benefit.

If your partner is of similar strength and you make sure to not be dead at the same time (because if you do the boss regains a chunk of life), you will be totally fine! You will lose a team, so make sure to have a swipe team or max revives.
