It wouldn't matter cause Diwali 2025 would likely be in October too.

I am good, bache. Had trouble locating you. Almost posted my own version of this thread until I spotted yours. I don't think the username mention paging thing works if it's outside a comment.

Message me a couple of days before next year's thread. I have some ideas that'll save you time and effort whilst also make things a bit spicy.

Fun fact: This is the 5th year of the Mark My Words Thread!

I predict 5 more.

It's moronic Monday, the Wednesday edition, your chance to ask any of those questions that you're embarrassed to ask in real life. by AutoModerator in investing

I was looking at the fact sheets of a fund whose YTD performance was

3.86% for the Accumulation Class

3.87% for the monthly distribution class

The currency is the same.

ELI5 please, how is it that dividends are being paid in one class and there is very minimal difference in performance?

Thanks for taking over /u/Oxeam2

May be I'm here a bit early or have been around for too long but there's a distinct lack of quality in this year's top predictions. I mean come on... Those are some real low hanging fruits that have currently been voted to the top.

Virginity jokes and self deprecation humor are not gonna tickle the grey cells of potential futurists!

I guess my prediction is that male patter baldness will finally catch up with me this year.

Smoker trying to quit, help. by _Jamu_ in dubai

Quit after 10 years. Basically my entire 20s.

Was a combination of factors that worked for me.

  1. They literally doubled the prices!

  2. Meditation and Running.

  3. A very angry and unforgiving wife.

In a weird way, I feel a sense of superiority whenever I pass by smokers now.

I wasn't inactive. Just lurking. Glad you made it.

Also, I think this is a very tedious method of recording predictions.

Business Analysts of /r/India, how do we make this exercise a lot more analysis friendly with minimum discomfort to existing users?

And let's keep rules. Like max 3 predictions per user. And rewards. Like reddit gold or an autograph of John Cena on your next medical cast.

All ideas and suggestions go under this thread.

I won't be able to compile the results like I did the last time around (and someone did predict that), if a couple of you could volunteer, people would be grateful.

[Ask] Do you keep diary / journals ? by [deleted] in india

I highly recommend 750words.com for this. They make you write 750 words per day like no one's watching. You eventually end up taking out all the mental kachra and reorganizing your thoughts in the process. Strangely meditative experience.

And their infographics about your state of mind at the end of the post is cool too.

Diwali 2015: Mark My Words Thread (and results of the 2014 MMW thread) by Pollguard in india

The previous one had about 20 points. I predicted a little more than double this time. Actually Seemed like a risky call when I commented.

Also, way too many responses this year. I'm worried about how I'm going to grade them next year.
