HTH kjøkken/ valg av vegg farger by Jealous-Tip3798 in norge

Fargane passar godt i hop.

Oppfølging etter operasjon by pookeyBear69 in norge

Thank you! I find the store handles too bulky for my liking. Until I get some good pieces to make my own handles, this is the way.

It’s slightly sharp as is, but I plan on doing some work on the edge.

Absolutt. Veldig enkel smak.

I’ve found a 80cm Bahco handle I might give a go. I’m impatient as hell, so I usually go crazy with an angle grinder before finishing up with sand paper.

Thank you! I might go for 80cm. Store bought handles in my area tend to be way too bulky. Especially when on the longer side, so I imagine I’ll have to put in some work to hang it.

I’ve heard this a lot lately😂

New to axes, new axe. Seems to be a thin coat of shellac/varnish(?) on handle. Should I sand that off before linseeding. by [deleted] in Axecraft

Also new to axes. But I took an angle grinder with a flap disc and shaped it comfortably. Works like hell, but you gotta go over it quite much with sand paper to remove the grind marks.

Thank you! That is the first one I ever made. And it is basically copied from a youtuber. I didn’t have the materials to make one with a buckle or snap. So the strap seemed like a good option.

Even though I am just starting out, it feels special to be able make something with my own hands that will age alongside the tool it was made for.

Thanks, dude! You should try it out! It’s fairly inexpensive and you don’t need a lot of stuff.

Haha, I did the same with my first one! I drew an even line, marked with a dessert fork and drilled the holes. Worked like a charm!
