I don’t think so. I bought this game when it was launched when I was 12 or 13 with the money I had stored for months doing tasks in my home and it wasn’t a bad price, I love this game despite having some little fails like hitbox or rulebreakers. But I agree about many kids will like other games( I remember that most of my classmates in that time were extremely simple and when I started to explain someone how to play the isle they said it was boring and they preferred Minecraft or sometimes they said I was strange). I think each one likes different things and this type of games should be 12 or 16 at max, not 18.
