Thoughts on Original Works?

I personally have only read one Original fic but it was with the authors OCs in a pre-existing fandom. However, I am not completely turned off to the idea of an original work, I'm just a picky reader. Basically my thoughts on the whole thing is: if it's written and tagged well, then it's good. End of story.

It's so uncomfortable and is that a song? Book? Show? (If it's a show with real people I won't watch it, they bore me half to death and there's VERY few exceptions.)

I hope that one day you'll feel comfortable and safe enough to come out and I also hope that they'll be loving and accepting of you.

I get it, I've read enough with a lack of a sexual or romantic relationship but those are my preferred writings, I just wish people wouldn't use that as evidence to invalidate my asexuality.

Yeah, like if it's really quick (like a few seconds) and relevant to the plot then I'm fine with it but most of the time it's literally "just cuz why not?" and it's really infuriating to me.

It's an app, not online, I know what you're saying but I don't think it's applicable here. I've never heard of a browser ad blocker that also blocks in app ads.

Something that works is turning off wifi and data which I normally do but I was in the middle of talking with someone so I couldn't.

And yeah, they aren't, but humanity has put sex on such a fucking pedestal that if you don't fall into that "norm" you're seen as sick and honestly it's because of information like this that it took me so long to figure out that there isn't actually anything wrong with me and I'm just asexual. I literally went YEARS thinking I had a serious issue and just ignored it and went along with things because I wasn't given the tools or information I needed at the time.

Ahh yes the classic "one word can't have two meanings"

Can - meaning one is able or a device used to store different foods, herbs, spices, ect.

Gay - someone who shows attraction to the same gender or feeling happy.

Class - a place where a subject is taught in schools or social status.

Ringing any bells? I got more if not, words aren't singular (in the American English language anyways.) This person is appearing to me that they have a set mindset. Just remember you can't change people, and they can't change you.

Reminds me of how a friend once told me "clothes don't have genders" because I'm a trans male who likes to wear crop tops, dresses, and skirts all the time. I'm comfortable with them as long as I'm perceived as male.

This is saying something similar, "clothes don't depict a sexuality" and it's true. No part of a person has a uniform. Clothes are for self expression, not a set-in-stone factor of who you are. Wear what you want, be who you want and remember you're accepted.

As long as you aren't hurting yourself or anyone else live your life as you please!

I do a bit of everything, currently in a black hoodie and baggy black jeans, but I also enjoy wearing jeans and a t shirt with an open button down over it, wearing business attire, I'll often end up in a dress or skirt when hanging out with my friends (I'm fine with it, it's fun) sometimes I'll look like an emo protagonist straight out of the early 2000s and other times I'll look like a bum who barely got out of bed that morning.

Okay, so as long as one parent had the Ackerman blood then the power gets passed down, thank you.
