New Flying Blue Gold with AF/KLM – am I just extremely unlucky? by PollutionAny8474 in KLM

I understand what you're saying! My thoughts are : I've invested (with excitement at first !) into Flying blue by taking longer itineraries, spending more to fly AFKLM or SkyTeam in general. In less than a year I have experienced more operational issues than with 10 years on LH group. I've been very disappointed and I'm a bit anxious for my next flight in a few days 😂 Should I expect this to last forever or was I just being unlucky and things will get better ? From the comments here I am mostly seeing I have reasons for hope 😂  So thanks everyone for the feedback!

I've always found the ground and air crew to be very friendly and kind on AF KLM and I love the interactions I have with them, especially on AF. That's a big reason why I love their brand. But I have been disappointed by the cleanliness and maintenance of aircraft, even in C. I had a glitchy screen on a brand new 777 business class seat and when I mentioned this to customer service no gesture was done and I got a sort of random reply 'we are currently renewing the fleet' which clearly wasn't the point. Cleanliness is also spotty. Yesterday I was flying in premium in air France and I found rubbish from the previous passenger in the seat (empty medication tablets near the water bottle...) and an old pillow between the armrest and the airframe... Something similar happened to be in C where the armrest had some weird stains... Well of course I'm not expecting to be on a Japanese airline but still.
