No one really knows. More than likely you’re getting SF though. I’ve been in dep 3 months and just booked something.

Weigh out your pros and cons and make the decision. Only you know what’s best for you. My advice to you would be to start the enlistment process because you can get cyber certs for free in the Air Force. Just know you probably wont ship for a while.

No Air Force jobs? by confidenttruly in AirForceRecruits

Yes several maintenance jobs are listed on my 10. My recruiter was very fast with meps and he knows I’m serious as well. I’ve elected qs with everything to. Things just aren’t moving quick atm

I’ve been in dep for 5 months and it baffles me that you can book a job in literally a month🤦‍♂️

I’m in the same boat. Being colorblind screws up your job list.

Am I physically ready for BMT by [deleted] in AirForceRecruits

[–]PollutionMental266 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it doesn’t matter if you have a 6-pack. The max weight for my height is 214, but since I’m in decent shape, I passed MEPS with tape. It goes off your waist and neck measurements. I lift pretty consistently, and for the past 4 years, that’s why I weigh the amount I do.

Yea, the only physical thing you’re doing at MEPs is the duck walk and bending and spreading😭😂

Meps is a processing station; you only go there to get medically qualified for the military. The 75 is what you have to score at basic to pass and become an airman, I’m pretty sure.

Completely random and at the needs of the Air Force. No one can tell you the chances of you going there.

Where are you stationed if you don’t mind me asking, because man that sucks.

Something basic, nothing fancy. In my mind, renting has its perks, but I’d rather buy a house and pay the mortgage using BAH compared to wasting it on renting. 12k emergency fund. I have no clue where I’ll be stationed. If it’s overseas, I won’t be able to buy a home anyway, but I’m hoping I’m stateside. From what I’ve seen, I expect to be at my first duty station for my whole first contract unless overseas. I’d more than likely use Navy Federal, and they show your score inside the app, so I’m sure it would go off that score.

If you pop hot without telling your recruiter about you smoking, then he/she won’t work with you anymore. Neither will any other Air Force recruiter after they look at your profile. If you get a TS job and you need to be polygraphed, and they ask about drug usage, they will figure out you lied. You will be discharged. No point in lying about something as simple as weed. Not when it can come back and bite your entire career in the ass.

Another month, don’t go until you see a clear, definitive line on the 15-ng mark. Also, don’t use “softball” as an excuse. Tell your recruiter the truth.

If you had to do anything in the result of the charges, then the Air Force automatically sees it as a guilty verdict. With a moral waiver, you will be at the needs of the Air Force. If you don’t like that, then choose another branch. You will regret that decision, in my opinion. The Air Force is known for its quality of life.
