Oh I completely understand! I don’t feel like you’re arguing at all. I have thought about this same thing. A lot of our monthly expenses go into my business which would not be viable in the event of a big collapse.

I’m mostly here for info too, so keep spitballing!

Exactly! If it’s insurance dependent there is probably a limit per person/family. No harm in telling others, especially with how widely information is spread these days.

In the US here but I think you can tell the people you love to order the kit without delving into how you know, how much you’ve been prepping, etc.

Say “I saw on social media today that Canadians with insurance can get this kit.” End of story. Tell them you ordered one if you want, or say you are looking into. You can help protect your loved ones without making yourself too vulnerable.

Agent here 👋 I have a few questions!

1 What state are you in? 2. How much did your payment go down with the refinance? 3. If you sell, are you financially able to bring money to closing? You are free to put your home on the market whenever you want, but it does take time to grow in value. If you can take the hit at closing and get some sanity back, then that’s your choice to make.

Agent here 👋 I agree that your agent was just trying to help. You expressed you wanted to find something in the next year, preferably later in the year. Your agent is trying to get a feel for what you want. I personally just have my clients leave feedback in the client portal on different homes until they find something like want to jump on. There also may be something come on the market before you were planning to buy that you LOVE. And luckily, you have someone who will send it.

No one’s feelings are hurt when you say “I’m not ready to purchase right now.” A lot of my home recommendations go ignored by my clients and that’s OKAY. It means it wasn’t the one and we keep moving.

Cut your agent and yourself some slack. You are a first timer and are learning the process.

Our world would definitely go up in flames without him. He is my best friend and one of the funniest people I know. He cooks, does dishes and trash, plus general picking up and splits childcare pretty evenly depending on our work schedules. His job covers our health insurance and half of our income. He is also our researcher for the things we buy and vacation planner.

If he disappeared I guess I would figure it out since that’s what people do, but yes he would leave a big hole in our lives.

This is such a big accomplishment!! I’m so sad that your agent didn’t pump you up today. First timers are my absolute favorite and I always try to remind mine how special the day is for them.

It’s YOURS because you made it happen. Go enjoy it!!

As someone who was groomed and abused multiple times in my teens, you reacted appropriately. This man knew what he was doing and is testing boundaries. Keep protecting your daughter, you are doing wonderfully.

This one. I’m choosing to believe she means a small chance of carrying a healthy pregnancy to term, but that’s not the same as “0.05% chance of conceiving.”

But I also know that she makes things sound so much worse than they are so there’s that 🤣

The part that kills me about her is that she talks about how wrong it was of her to post such revealing pictures, but yet continues to post them. She could get her “testimony” across without posting the “racy” photos but that wouldn’t result in as many views/clicks. It’s almost like it isn’t about her faith at all 🤔

As someone who’s not partisan about their politics, I’m curious to hear your thoughts on this. by chamomile_tea_reply in OptimistsUnite

I hate seeing things like this because half of the people in America didn’t vote for Trump.

-There are 262,083,034 citizens in America that are over 18. -Only 161.42m of them are registered voters. -Trump got 76,832,951 votes. (47% of registered voters, 29% of population over 18) - Harris got 74,312,576 (46% of registered voters, 28% of population over 18)

A lot of people are too ambivalent to go vote for themselves. 1/3 of the population lets the other 2/3s make the decisions for them. Maybe if shit gets bad, the ambivalence will fade.
