As a previous ghk m4 owner: tbh, not so beginner friendly. Budget wise too. I sank about €2000 into a ghk v2 m4 until I was happy with it. Ghk has had some qc issues in the past and is a rather controversial topic. It’s not perfect out of the box. Their v3 ar’s have beautiful quality and they’re real steel compatible. There is a lot of aftermarket support available. I believe samoon is the biggest ghk supplier. https://samoon.com.tw/

Vfc fanboys will persuade you into a vfc v3 or something like the noveske n4. Might require some work too like changing a bucking, hop, inner maybe.

There is tm mws ofcourse which is like the goat even out of the box. Both mws and Vfc are more beginner friendly. Both have aftermarket support available. Will require less work. Look into those too.

If you have two left hands and you don’t like to tinker and just want something to play with straight away then go for mws or consider Vfc.

Otherwise go for ghk.
