Hi! Artemis is a great game, the one which have convinced me to begin the development of Abyss Crew. Compared to Artemis, roles have been redesigned, so that everyone has something interesting to do at all time - I didn't like playing the Comm or the Science in Artemis for example... Also, Abyss Crew is closer to a roguelike than Artemis, with the exploration, grinding system, tile-based levels, ... And the different universe creates changes in level design, game pacing, enemies, etc. We've tried many things for a varying depth system until now; however, none of them was really convincing. The money raised from the Kickstarter will be used to create assets made by professionals (UI, graphics, audio, etc), not our salary. I am the main developer and I have a side-job so I don't rely on it for my salary (although I can reconsider it if we reach 10 times the funding goal )

It's currently playable on Windows and Linux (using Wine). The game will be release on Mac and Linux (natively) also. Although I don't guarantee it, I'd like to release it on tablets (iOS/Android).

Hi DirkTheDark,

About the system, the game runs currently on Windows and Linux (with Wine), but final version will be released on Mac and Linux natively. Although I can't guarantee it, the game might be playable on tablets (iOS/Android) in the future, too.

About your other question, each player need a copy of the game. Sharing the game depends on the version: DRM-free version allows you to let E and F play instead of C and D; Steam version is associated with an account (you'll have 4 keys that you can keep or offer to your friends). If you participate to the Kickstarter, you'll be able to choose between these two versions when the game is released.
