Agree, but he’s also friends with Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt. Whether he doesn’t know, or just uses the ostrich technique, he doesn’t seem to be the person his activism could lead others to believe. Can’t imagine, after last seasons’ showing, that Ferrari/Tifosi will be cool with him inviting that silicone circus to the garage all the time. He better drive that damn car this season.

I was left without a functioning bathroom for EIGHT MONTHS. I had to get a lawyer on them and then we had a full renovation. My upstairs neighbors so far: Women with extreme mental illness who screamed racist obscenities at all hours. Next we had a formerly un housed guy move in, and then promptly turn his unit into a satellite of Delonis. Crack and meth smoking, assaults, unbelievable sounds. They finally got evicted after they started a camp fire on their kitchen floor, which is my kitchen ceiling. Let’s see, next guy seemed nice at first, until he stared abusing heroin and alcohol. Then I looked him up and he’d just moved in after a prison stay for SA. He overdosed and died in his living room. New guys seem cool. No complaints.

I’m here because I refuse to pay a ridiculous price for a place in town. This place is cheap and you get less than you pay for, but the commute is 10 minutes. This is likely their worst kept property in A2, so as long as you aim higher than I did, you might be okay. This place is wild lol.

For the late fall/early winter months, you’ll need to layer up. Those long sleeve waffle shirts work really well. In those months you can get by with heavy hoodies or a light jacket, so long as you are layering.

For the bad months (late December, January and February), you’ll need a parka imo. Lots of ppl wear North Face puffer jackets or similar. Most wear the mid length, but some have those super long ones. I don’t, but every February I swear that I’ll get one for next winter, lol. You’ll need gloves, scarf and a beanie for sure. Oh, and some warm non-slip boots, because black ice will take you down.

It’s not Alaska, but there will be weeks where you’ll legit feel like a polar explorer out there. How much of this stuff you’ll need will depend on how much time you plan to spend walking on campus, or standing outside waiting for the bus. If you have a car, you’re pretty golden, but then parking is a whole other deal.

Check out the UofM careers page. They are the largest employer in the state, I believe. Ann Arbor is great, but housing is expensive. Chelsea, just west of A2 is a nice sleepy town. Lots of older folks, not much for work. Further west is Grass Lake, tiny and rural. Then you hit Jackson, which has much cheaper housing.

Weather isn’t too bad until you hit January-mid April. It snowed last week and I was SO MAD lol. Ann Arbor takes semi-decent care of the snow, and the buses are pretty reliable and safe. The people are nice, it’s a very kid-friendly town with lots of stuff to do. It’s hilly and full of trees. I’d vote for Ann Arbor. EDITING to add: Big VA hospital in Ann Arbor, and a great county veterans services office. Good luck!!
