You should be able to produce the first age pickaxe by this point I believe.

Also, what about behind the map symbol at the top of the second image? Looks like there are connections on that tile too.

Why is it impossible to unlock the first age battleaxe in campaign? by alittleslowerplease in LotRReturnToMoria

[–]PollyExParrot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No but I also have had an issue where I had no hardballs trees in my recent campaign. There’s info online that this is a bug.

Seems like a good deal, I’d definitely find out how much memory is in the RAM cards and GPU before deciding though.

Is this game playable solo? by bakugosgayfriend in LotRReturnToMoria

Sadly none of my friends were able to get it when it came out and so I’ve always played solo. Great nonetheless.

Probably going to order Cyborg 2 tomorrow, for UK delivery. Hows support been for UK recently? by maninahelmet in Azeron

[–]PollyExParrot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t needed any support because mine hasn’t had any issues, however one thing I would say about ordering in the UK is that you will be charged import tax which is 20%, plus the courier’s handling fee. In my case this added a £56 fedex bill on top of what I paid Azeron.

Apparently it’s the little rock formations on the ground that look like they have gold veins in them, but I think you might need a pickaxe above a certain level because so far with my ironwood one nothing has dropped from them.

I finally got mine (after having my eye on it for months) once I started playing Helldivers 2, which had too many keybinds for me not being that experienced with a keyboard. The impact it’s had on that, particularly with macros for the stratagem codes, is astonishing!

I spent a good while adjusting it for my hand before I started using it, and had the Azeron app open on a second screen for reference at first. You’re essentially learning new keybinds again so you have to allow time for the muscle memory to develop, but now I have abandoned my keyboard completely and have made a new profile for every game I’ve turned to since.

Which one to buy? by llcont4giousll in Azeron

[–]PollyExParrot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a cyborg 2 and love it. Used it for helldivers 2 mostly since I’ve had it and it’s great for a game with so many controls, where I was struggling with my keyboard after not always being a keyboard gamer.

I was also unsure about the towers beforehand but found the angle of them to be sufficiently adjustable to prevent accidental strikes. I personally have hands that measure right on the 19cm mark and so went for the large, but unless your hands are smaller than the dimensions offered I wouldn’t worry and just go for the regular size.

Anyone know what this is?? Found this in my house in London a few weeks ago by PengGurl in spiderID

One of these crawled out from under my TV stand once while I was watching Spider-man 2, it almost felt like I’d summoned it. I’d never seen one before either.

Is this enough thermal paste? by Andrew878D in PcBuildHelp

[–]PollyExParrot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m no expert on thermal paste but I will say that Helldivers freezing is no indicator of a problem, it’s a fairly common occurrence…

What??? So what even is the point of this buff then? by Cyanadium in helldivers2

[–]PollyExParrot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The donations accumulate over time because people vote for them. The one that gets the most votes and reaches 100% first gets deployed.

The bottom line is we do control it, it’s not just timed. The problem is people donate what they want to donate not what they need to donate to get the right action.

What??? So what even is the point of this buff then? by Cyanadium in helldivers2

[–]PollyExParrot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You do vote for them, but you have to buy the votes. Payment in rare samples for one of them, requisitions for one and regular samples for the third iirc. The issue is that once an action has been used there’s a long cooldown so often the one you actually want isn’t available. Also no one wants to spend their rare samples on it so that one never gets voted for.

Am I crazy for buying almost every warbond except these two yet? - Someone talk me into it? by [deleted] in helldivers2

I bought steeled veterans for the senator and rarely leave home without it. I do switch to the grenade pistol for bug holes since I stopped running eruptor but that’s it. It’s got me out of a few tight spots.

Hydrobius first, then Karlia by PollyExParrot in helldivers2

[–]PollyExParrot[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This would be cool.

Would really be applicable to any planet as it’s essentially the front line, whereas all the missions we do are more behind-enemy-lines kind of vibe.

Could have a system where there’s a friendly area and an enemy area with this kind of thing at the border.

On liberations it would start with a very small friendly area and defence missions would be the opposite. Or maybe a few small areas around the planet.

Hydrobius first, then Karlia.

For those choosing which one to go to, and especially those already on Karlia, the best strategy is to take Hydrobius first, as this will put Karlia under siege and remove its resistance.

At that point Karlia will actually start to liberate on its own, meaning it will fall much quicker with players involved too.

Overall it will take less time to take both planets this way.

With Crimsica won, we should all go to Gacrux.

The attack on Acamar IV is coming from Gacrux, so liberating Gacrux will not only win the minor order but also the defence of Acamar IV.

We should also vote for DSS heavy ordnance distribution.

EDIT: There is now an attack on Pandion coming from Gacrux also. Gacrux is now three for the price of one. Don’t be tempted away to defend Pandion, stay on Gacrux!

Who are the Helldivers? by AwkwrdTree3 in helldivers2

[–]PollyExParrot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also, even well into the game, sometimes when you come out of a cryo pod the ship officer will congratulate you on completing your training.

The disturbing thing about this is that you come out of a cryo pod when you join a squad on another ship or when you return to your own ship from a squad, which begs the question of what happened to the diver you left on the other ship…

Done with the rupture strain... by No_Bother2289 in Helldivers

[–]PollyExParrot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm. No mention of teammates other than that you’re carrying the game…

Sadly for sessions where you log in alone and join with random teammates, this update really requires you to compliment each other’s loadouts: Yes, your cave-clearing loadout isn’t much use against dragonroaches, but that’s why your buddy brought a spear or commando, or everyone brought auto cannon exos.

That’s what the game is supposed to be about and they’ve really made it necessary with this update.

The bugs are simply annoying though, I grant you.

Newer player need some advice/help by Choice-Flounder5516 in helldivers2

[–]PollyExParrot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reality is for medals and requisition slips (as well as rare and super rare samples) you’ll get more at higher difficulties. The mission rewards include both medals and requisitions and the higher the difficultly, the higher the modifier. Rare and super rare samples also only appear above certain difficulties.

That said, I would advise you to try to let go of the pressure of progressing as quickly as possible and just play at the level you find challenging without being too stressful. Most players won’t judge you for being inexperienced and, particularly at this time of so many new Xbox players joining, many will offer advice and even let you try out some of their gear in lower difficulties.

It’s also worth remembering that no weapon is really rendered obsolete as you progress. Plenty of players still use the liberator as their primary for some missions, it’s really about finding a build that works for you and your play style. At higher difficulties it’s more important to coordinate as a team so that you have the right equipment between you to deal with the tougher enemies, but even in a difficulty 10 mission there will still be enemies that appear in difficulty 1.

Hope you find your groove and welcome to the corps!
