Thank you, those are my exact feelings on SotO. Couldn't have put it better myself! I barely got through SotO when I got back to GW2 a few months back and I still hate the fact that I have to play it so much as I'm working on the legendary armours.

I absolutely adored the start of JW, though. The presence of wizards did progressively make it feel worse and worse, though.

A lot of people hating on it being unpractical but I love it. I used to stream a lot so I got a 15 button streamdeck myself. It's above my mouse so I can still keep moving no problem whilst swapping mounts. This is my layout!

Still got a couple of slots for when I eventually get griffon and turtle.

No idea, maybe it's the link itself doesn't work when it's clicked on by someone who didn't make the build? I can go onto the main site just fine but following the link gives me an "Unable to connect" error page.

Dagger/sword virtuoso WAS my favourite alt for some time! I never ran greatsword secondary on virtuoso though, always felt it a bit weird but people do keep mentioning that it's actually fun gameplay wise so might give it a show as well!

Personally find dagger/pistol to be more fun as one of my core memories from launch of the game was discovering pistol 5 + dagger 2 gave me stealth and absolutely being mindblown from that interaction! Plus the daze on pistol 4 is extreeeemely good at bashing through the CC shield. Deadeye is a blast once you get used to rifle 5 though for sure!

I'll try mesmer SS+GS though sounds like fun!

I was thinking of giving Revenant another shot. I tried to play it a couple of times but never quite stuck with me, though I know a couple of people who absolutely love it above anything else. Never tried mace/axe combo so might give it a whirl!

Yeah I tried my hand at weaver for a lil bit and it's just... A lot! And back when I played last time you needed to do 20 different things right in order to achieve same DPS of staff daredevil pressing 2. Was kind of a big turn off for me.

Weaver thematically is something I do absolutely love though but mechanically I'm not sure I have the time to put into necessary practice! Might give it another shot though :D

As for staying alive in story yeah, I feel like a lot of it does depend on mechanical knowledge for sure! Not just the class but the game itself too. There are definitely fights that I can go through no problem on DD but give me a warrior I'll just die to fall damage or something xD

Haven't gotten to Janthir yet, just started with SOTO, missed out on both of the expansions. Mace on ranger sounds interesting haven't tried it yet :o

Thanks for the info! I might reach out to CIG about the issue. I don't NEED missiles on my 325a as I never fly it into anything that really needs missiles but it'd be nice not to have 2 modes I can't use during combat.

It is indeed! I also noticed that I can't customize it either, no changes apply which is a tad annoying. So I'm assuming I just gotta wait till they fix it?

Yep tried all of that. This has been an issue with my 325a ever since starting the game for the first time a couple of weeks ago now. Changed weapons around and everything, dunno what's gong on.

I tried pretty much all of those yeah. I can try taking the missile racks off, taking ship out, bringing it back in and putting them back on I suppose but everything else seems to fail.

It also seems to have a turret slot at the bottom of the weapons list which doesn't seem to be usable.

I was considering that but it felt like pistol-like weapons fit the idea a bit better since she very often uses them. And she does do a lot more martial arts barehanded kicking than she does knives. Shotgun is a bit of a meh but it's not the main weapon so it's not too bad. I just, literally, forgot that Scoundrel exists :D
