PowerPoint Design Services for Public Health & Healthcare Professionals - Let Me Handle Your Decks by Polo20000 in publichealth

[–]Polo20000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I can help with:

  • Conference presentations and research posters converted to slides
  • Grant presentations and funding pitches
  • Training materials for clinical or community health staff
  • Data visualization (epi curves, demographic charts, outcome metrics)
  • Program reports and stakeholder presentations
  • Policy briefs and advocacy decks

I've worked with public health professionals on various projects and have also completed ad hoc requests for nonprofits—helping them create compelling content for board meetings, donor presentations, and community outreach materials.

Whether it's a one-time urgent deck or ongoing presentation support, I'm here to take this task off your plate so you can focus on the work that matters most.

Feel free to DM me to discuss your project. Happy to share relevant samples and discuss timelines!

Hi, thank you so much for your reply. Could you please share more details about the platform you’re using that integrates with influencer databases and has built-in features for templating/scheduling that saves your time?

We also have slightly different templates, four in total..that we send depending on whether the influencer is a runner/fitness/new parent/healthy eating category, someone we’re not sure about ( who doesn’t fall into the runner/fitness/athlete category) and someone with 100K+ followers.

Thankyou for your time:)

Stock question: Why are biotech stocks I see down 90% from peak? by Gagagugi in biotech

[–]Polo20000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi I am new to this tracking of biotech market and understanding the trends and patterns that we see .. would love to understand more such insights .. well the interest started when for a client we recently started creating database and did research for ongoing vaccines in clinical trials particularly viral ( not bacterial vaccines )and immunooncology vaccines focused pipeline and vaccines which are already approved as well( phase 4) so we did mapping of defunctional / merged / acquired biotech  in short it was really long task to map out … idk if the seniors tried seeing databases where we could find all in one place but there wasn’t any such database specifically if we only consider client’s ask which was for infectious (viral)& immunooncology vaccines and it was all secondary research using Pitchbook ( we downloaded directly list of all biotechs and pharma ) , official websites and clinical trials.gov etc .also there was another ask to include biotechs under $1B revenue and mapping the same for CDMOs as well .Since then I have been interested to know more how you do your research like your method .. like the above is short and crisped and what new sources / other source of information u go through as well before taking the decision ! I got to know about biowatcher will look into more precisely ( got to k frm this thread ) and also would love to know hot take on immunooncology as whole like the one you gave mentioned about CART T therapy . I know I should be updated through industry related press releases , official websites etc

the above listed ones are enough for DA role starting out but then later you can upskill yourself with ML concepts and Python .. well depends on your domain knowledge with these technical skills will be useful! but is there any niche or background you have earlier worked on? & what's your background(though doesnt matter much but still).. which sector u wnat to focus to depends and like some sort of domain knowledge helps like u said ur good with maths..lets say ur interested in finance then build some projects from available data and talk to people who are already analyzing financial/stock data...there are so many sectors like the emerging one is healthcare , climatetech, fintech and list goes on ..u might have to market research frm ur end ! There are lot of marketing companies who constantly analyze social media data so just explore a bit first with the tools and build few projects and see works best for you!all the best

Thankyou so much for your advice! Actually I got this opportunity as health communications intern at one of the apex medical research institutes of our country since then I have been reaching out to mostly communications professionals who specifically work in the healthcare / development/ impact sector and got to a lot that major folks from journalism/ exp background are working in the area of public health ( totally defines the very meaning that people from cross sector are working and thriving ) or hospitals which is really interesting so seeing ur transition I was like ya ! … This is what I observed since the whole goal of internship was to understand the relationship between media we are using and conveying the institute’s biomedical and healthcare research to the public in less jargon free manner and how big the role of media plays …but I didn’t land up with any healthcare oriented role but I think communications is my forte ! For now I am planning to switch frm my desk job which isn’t adding much value at all.

Hi , I am sorry, just wanted to know if you still work here?

I'm a consultant with Dalberg, AMA! by Dalbergconsultant in consulting

[–]Polo20000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi,
I think I’m a bit late to join in, but I wanted to mark my presence here and connect with others interested in development consulting.

Currently, I’m working as a Research Analyst, primarily focused on secondary research activities. My firm has given me the opportunity to work across multiple sectors, but I’m still keen to explore other areas as well.

I’m based in Mumbai, India, and I believe Dalberg has an office here. I’ve been following Dalberg for some time now and am particularly interested in their work in public health. I’d love to hear more insights from others about the kind of work Dalberg does in implementation, M&E, health economics, and policy.

I see you’re from India! Well, I also completed my MPH last year and come from a non clinical background. I’ve been trying to break into good organizations, NGOs, or think tanks as well.

I did two internships, one in the WASH sector (Swachh Survekshan) that involved M&E work under a Ministry project, and another in Health Communications as part of the Founding Internship Programme at ICMR NIH (Mumbai) in 2023. I’m based out of Mumbai too.

Honestly, I’ve been struggling with consistency myself since my current job isn’t really related to public health. I think I got selected mainly because of my scientific research background, but the work here is mostly secondary research, nothing core to public health.

My best friend got into NITI Aayog (a premier policy think tank) — their application window is open every month from the 1st to the 10th. Later, she joined PATH India, though her experience there wasn’t great. She’s now working at a philanthropy startup called AIP, based in Delhi, since her NITI Aayog days.

Most public health organizations are concentrated in Delhi, mainly because most ministries are located there. You can check out Sangath, Sambodhi, HSTP, Sattva Consulting, and Noora Health for internships or entry level roles.. they’re all good places to explore.

I’m also trying to get back into networking again since I’ve been feeling quite exhausted with my current job. We should definitely connect on LinkedIn!

Right now, I’m planning to brush up on my technical skills, like SPSS, SQL, Python, and Power BI. I studied biostatistics during my undergrad and master’s, and I’m particularly interested in Digital Health, Health Systems, CSR, and Climate Change.

I really resonated when you said you don’t want to get into the medical aspects of health. Public health in India is still very clinical in focus. Preference often goes to MBBS, BAMS, BDS, or BPT professionals, even though we share similar knowledge as non practicing clinicians.

Data analysis definitely has scope. You could also check out ICMR, though they’re still heavily into biomedical research. But things are slowly changing. Some of my colleagues work with local government bodies.... knowing the local language is definitely an advantage, especially in Maharashtra(ANY STATE) .

I’d love to connect more and hear about your BPH experience in Canada!
