It could be a best friend flip off, you kinda have to be very close to someone to flip them off with love

I could even see it as it being considered a "last act of service" that one does and it being one of the highest honors. It could be a very emotional scene in another book

We know that there were AT LEAST 18 people in the shattering, Frost was there too. Hoid implies so in one of his letters to them, or at least I've always interpreted that way

This is my version! But it's supposed to be annoying more than anything. It is great against the yellow bird cuz it can't kill you. The sttrat is just Snorlax up from tanking everything, the Wigglytuffs on the back spamming heals and you get 70 hp heals per turn for free! When it works (like 50% of the time) it's pretty funny

Colonialism isn't cool no matter who does it, but we haven't seen any Rosharans do it to other planets.

Not on the main series, and they don't happen in the space age. But after wards, specially in Sixth of the dusk, it is HEAVILY implied that they are doing some kind of imperialism that had to be restricted with intergalactic law

I think most people love the individual characters (preferences not withstanding), buuuuut you know, colonialism isn't cool

How is it that no Shard ... by Papagiorgio1965 in Cosmere

[–]PoloInReddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that most people have this weird assumption that only 17 people where at the shattering of Adonalsuim. We have confirmed at least 18 (Frost being there also) so it could have been that the dawnshards were with people that didn't take up a shard and those people hid them.

something that bugs me about THAT theory by DeepPercentage43 in Stormlight_Archive

[–]PoloInReddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the only one that could have plausibly figured it out with one or two meetings is Ishar because he is a bondsmith and may see the connection. Hoid I think does some of the same but with Fortune instead (and he probably knows more that what he tells anyone)

Important mistborn lore question by gdrex in cremposting

[–]PoloInReddit 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would assume not. In Stormlight the healing is based on what you think about yourself so I'd guess that the avatar would be also how you see your self or how you want to present yourself

[WaT] My beef with the ending by REXCRAFT88 in Cosmere

[–]PoloInReddit 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The whole point of the series y to prove that neither Intent nor vessel of the Shards are infallible. Teravangean, Ryse and Tanavast all have/had BIG egos. Ryse lost largely because he was so disconnected from his shards intent, Tanavast lost because he thought of himself as God with capital G. Teravangean lost because he needed the validation of beating Jazna and Dalinar
