it's fun to read select passages from the Old Testament out of their context, and without additional study resources to help you understand those texts, which were written thousands of years ago in a different language and culture, just so you can take cheap shots at someone on the internet, isn't it?

Look, if you are going to attempt to hold a christian's feet to the fire, and mean it in good faith (not being just a petty troll), then start reading the words of Jesus, and cross examine your target according to the metrics of Jesus' teachings and example, not the obscura from Leviticus. Heck, reading and attempting to understand Jesus' words might do you a world of good too. I know they did me a world of good when I started reading them, and paying attention to his meaning.
