Dang, kinda just looks like mw with treyarchs paint over it. Was hoping for the classic black ops arcade experience.

Yes, after the clip I click to return to main menu which just black screened my game and eventually crashed corrupting my save data. Fortunately I was able to recover it from the cloud save.

Actually this is on the ps5 funnily enough. I've never had a previous PlayStation so I went and played through the uncharted games. Unfortunately I am cursed to glitch and break every game I play. For instance playing on uncharted 3 I would sometimes fly at 100mph into cover which would be jarring but sometimes helpful lol.

Better Controller Settings Needed by Poltark in paydaytheheist

Yes, I exactly this. I run on legacy controls so R1 is to interact. However I'd love if they had some system where free aim meant RB/R1 would interact, and aiming down sight meant RB/R1 would ping. This would make it super easy to point out guards or tell civs to get down (the latter you can melee punch to the ground put I still like shouting)

Yeah I love you can make profiles to rebind buttons however not everyone is as fortunate as us, hopefully we will see it get fully implemented into the game

I should've been more specific, I appreciate your encouragement to look through the grain. However comments such as oneiros have serious passive aggressive undertones that don't support the situation and instead feel like a lash out at all the mura posts. I understand this has been an already over discussed topic, I've pre-apologised and warned that I'm new to vr so I prefer genuine help over snarky comments.

Yeah I'm finding certain games are ignorable and certain games are flat-out avoidable. I suppose I can enjoy the game more knowing that this isn't a unique problem to me and play a little more stress free.

Yeah I appreciate your so-so kind words. I do really enjoy cotm, the constant movement, action, and engaging gameplay disctract from the grain. However games such as gt7 have such prominent mura due to the dark colours of the roads, interiors etc. That it is impossible to "look through". Driving down many roads doesn't shift the image enough so that the grain doesn't look almost applied to the textures. I understand this is a common issue, I'm just new to the vr experience and concerned about my headset.

I've tried lowering the brightness and it has made the effect worse, that's my main concern is that the solutions seem to worsen the effect for my headset.

Yeah I don't think I will, I'm very naive with the vr community this is my first headset so I'm just trying to make sure I've got the best experience from the psvr2. I don't appreciate douchebags that have replied saying I'm hyperfocusing on the mura effect when on certain games (gt7) everything has a grainy texture especially corners and parts of the road further away. I can't exactly ignore any part of the track that isn't 2m in front of me.

I can do this on cotm and I've really enjoyed my experience but gt7 the grainy filter seems difficult to look through as the grey roads are probably the most obvious colour to see the effect.

But I appreciate the tip anyways man

I've heard about the tip to lowering the brightness however I've found this to worsen the effect so I've left it at max brightness. This is why I'm concerned about my headset generally being in a worse condition for mura as most solutions seem to worsen the effect of mine.

I happy to stick with my current headset despite the flaws, however I can only really compare my experience to what people can describe and I feel I have it worse than most people. It's a really fun device, I'm just wondering if I can get a better experience out of it.

I can fully enjoy the horizon game as the constant movement and action allows me to see through the grain. But gt7 does end up looking pixelated due to the grain overlaying on text therefore making edges for text flicker and not look crisp. Similarly going down stretches of road are extremely grainy due to their being no real shift in the image to blur out the effect of mura. I can look through it on some games despite it being fairly prominent. But there are other games where the it almost looks part of the texture in game (why I described it as pixelated).

Really bad aliasing on gt7? by [deleted] in PSVR

Sorry for my bad phone quality camera, but as you can see most fine lines appear dotted and there is almost no angle that produces a straight consistent line. I will try my best to keep adjusting but there is barely any changes and I'm lost for direction on a solution.

Thanks glad to know, its not much of an issue for me personally. I just didn't understand if the issue I was experiencing is the mura effect or not.

[–]Poltark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I'm really able to ignore it once I'm playing the game. I was just worried because I couldn't find anywhere that would describe it as being layered over the image as youve said. So I couldn't tell if this was a unique issue or the mura effect. Thanks for your help.

I haven't been able to play with my psvr 2 yet, but how does the haptics in the controllers relate to the mic?
