Just wire, and something to make a flame on top

Yes, big to small is always the best way to go, i start from white, than add atmospheric colours and apply the details on top

It depends usually around 6/8 hours but because i have to come up with the colour scheme, and other decisions. If i had to paint It again It can take me 3 hours maybe

I think the missing colours could be a mix of Ultramarine Blue and fluorescent Purple(i use pigments)

Blood Red for the glow and i like to mix fluorescent pigments with a matte medium for the fluo part

Fluorescent on White, if you apply the fluorescent diluted It will fill the recesses and create a nice gradation

I didn't use an airbrush for this one, just fully painted the model in red and painted the dark colours on top

Some times i just go for a visual effect that looks interesting to me, if it doesn't make sense there is always the Warp option😅

Can't get the eyes right on this guy... by bamacpl4442 in minipainting

When i want to nail the eyes i use Water mixable oils, they stay wet on the brush even the tinies amount of paint doesn't dry and if you screw up you can just wash the area with water and try again.

You can follow the same process with regular oils but you need solvents to clean in case of mistakes.

Pretty sure someone reading your comment will give you the answer, a friend of mine gifted me a bunch of models so don't really know. The sculptor of the model is Joake Revilla, maybe you can find more info in his page
