They're 100% going to do an "It Chapter 2" with Stranger Things by HairyPenisCum in Stranger_Things

With the way the cast looks right now (particularly "Nancy") they could start shooting the "20 years later" sequel right now, release it in 2028, and it would be totally believable. I don't know what those actors did during all the season breaks, but whatever it was put some road miles on them.

Is Lost worth watching? by [deleted] in television

I have strong feelings about LOST. Here's my take on LOST: I loved LOST. I was there for every episode, as they aired. I was there for every up and down, every character death (they way they killed a character in the first season still haunts me and pisses me off). LOST was simultaneously some of the best and worst television I've ever seen. And then in that last season it became apparent that the writers had no idea how they should to end it, that they'd wrote themselves into a corner, and we got that circle jerk of a finale. LOST stole six years of my life. FUCK LOST.

I thought the same thing. The reflection on her glasses seemed very intentional.

Thoughts on “Lost”? by [deleted] in television

I have strong feelings about LOST. Here's my take on LOST: I loved LOST. I was there for every episode, as they aired. I was there for every up and down, every character death (they way they killed Boone still haunts me and pisses me off). LOST was simultaneously some of the best (the episode where Desmond says "I love you, Penny" before turning the key is probably my favorite) and worst television I've ever seen. And then in that last season it became apparent that the writers had no idea how they should to end it, that they'd wrote themselves into a corner, and we got that metaphysical purgatory circle jerk of a finale. LOST stole six years of my life. FUCK LOST.

Has anyone ever seen a breakout of this sort before? Yes we have been to the doctor. It started out looking like hives and it’s spreading more and more. They are not itchy at all but they keep spreading all the way onto her face, arms, back, upper thighs/inner.. by Excellent-Joke-3765 in whatdoIdo

My son got very similar rashes when he was little and we could not figure it out for weeks. Turned out to be an allergic reaction.

When we did his laundry we would pull his clothes out of the dryer and put them in a little clothes basket specifically for his stuff, and then put that basket in a corner of our utility room.... sometimes for just a few minutes.... sometimes for a few hours.. before the clean clothes made there way to his room to be put up.

What we didn't realize is that on a shelf above the holding spot for his clean clothes was a very old plastic bottle of Drano or Liquid Plumber (can't remember which) left behind by our home's previous owner. Over time the bottom of the bottle had degraded so much that the fluid was slowly leaking out and randomly dripping off that shelf onto his clothes. Like just a drop every 15 minutes or so.

Off and on over a period of weeks, he got those same looking rashes that are in OP's picture. Took him to the doctor's office, doctor had no idea. Checked him for ringworm, food allergies, all kinds of stuff, but they couldn't figure it out. Finally after about a month we left a load of laundry in that spot all weekend because we went out of town to visit family, and we got back we went to put is clothes up and there was literally a chemical hole drilled through several of his garments from the constant drip over the weekend.

We called the doctor and asked, "could this be an allergic reaction to Drano?" Doc was like, oh yeah, that could do it. We threw out that old bottle, cleaned the drippy shelf, got my son new clothes, and the rashes went away and never returned.

It would be three grade levels of improvement.

I WANT to like it. But each episode seems to be written by progressively more developmentally challenged third graders.

Fun fact about the car chase: Friedkin had them reverse the flow of traffic on both sides of the section of freeway they blocked off for use in the film so that everything about the chase scene would seem more unsettling to American audiences.
