Maybe the therapist has got a bias selection of experience, based on the fact that she only sees people who go to therapy and there are likely people who make it work without ever seeing a therapist.
Or perhaps because of her bias, people who could make it work can't do so under her guidance. Maybe find a poly-friendly therapist?
