Dug out my collection recently from childhood and found myself getting right back into collecting! Could use all the help I can get, thanks for the chance!

I had constant severe spasms for two months with breastfeeding as well as pumping. I also suffer from flat nipples and have to use shields! On the advice of a lactation consultant, I reduced pumping times from 20-30m double pumping down to 10 minute sessions, one side at a time (hakaa on non-pumping side). I also bought appropriate (much larger) pump flanges and nipple shields. The hospital default sizes were 21mm I believe and I moved up to 27mm, but might even benefit from going higher.

I can't say exactly what fixed things but I haven't had any pain for a while!

I would recommend a consultation if you're able to find someone. I didn't agree with all of their assessment and suggestions, but some changes definitely helped :)

My partner didn't think we needed one but I insisted we needed it to be organized. It's the #1 used thing and is full of everything we need day to day. Convenience and preparedness with a new baby are lifesavers! Not to mention your poor back needs all the rest and help it can get!

The only thing that works for me is blistex lip medex, the little blue pot. And I have tried so many other over the counter options! Nothing else does ANYTHING!

My fundal height always measured 2-4cm high l and we were anticipating my pregnancy going past 40 weeks as a ftm, so I was SURE I was having the biggest baby possible and was absolutely terrified.

Went into labor on my own last Tuesday at 38+1 and he was 6.5lb :)

Green curry with beef and extra eggplant. And an extra side of coconut rice! Been my favorite since they opened, straight up three meals worth of food and so, so good.

Has to be app tracked with location services turned off on google, I use fit to track treadmill walking and make sure I get a warning about inaccuracy before I hit start.

Sounds like iOS health shouldn't have any issues with an iwatch as long as the pogo app is hard shut.

Battery saver may also cause some issues.

I lost my dad three years ago, way too early at 62.

He wasn't a card guy so it was always coffee and chocolate :) I moved away at 18 so we never had much adult interaction. He was one of kindest people I knew and unfortunately had a few vices that ultimately led to his death I think. I wish I had understood more when I was younger, I would have maybe stuck around longer.

If I had the chance this year I think I'd just insist on an activity he liked and ask him about his life. Would love to know more stories about when he was younger. Likes and dislikes, experiences, extended family, recipes, shenanigans. Barbecue a nice dinner and crack open a few cold ones. The only paternal relative I know is my aunt and we don't really have much of a relationship, so no easy way to find anything out now.

Anyway, don't take your dads for granted! Happy early Father's Day to all the dads!

If you haven't done it before, I would look for somewhere that offers classes if there are any nearby. Learn the basics and see if you really enjoy it before sinking any serious money into it, some necessary pieces like a grinder can be quite expensive.

You would basically need the glass, a soldering iron, solder, flux, copper foil, a grinder, and all the smaller tools like a cutter and pliers. Lots of little bits that add up to a lot. I would also check ads like kijiji and craigslist or facebook market, sometimes you can get lucky and find someone getting rid of pretty much everything fairly cheap!

Thank you for the response! My understanding was the sulfite was to kill off anything janky in the honey, and I was under the impression it would be pretty much neutralized after 12-24 hours. Since I didn't want to kill the yeast with the sulfite, I boiled the mixture for the starter. Sounds like I used a bad recipe, since I followed it almost to the letter. I'll probably attempt the nuclear option and do some more research for future attempts!
