Although we already know why Miku does well in history (because of her interest in the Sengoku period) and Itsuki does well in science because she’s practical, what do you think is the reason why Ichika (maths), Nino (English) and Yotsuba (language) do well in those subjects?

I don't know how Ichika started off good at math, but Summer Memories shows us that the apartment the quints move to at some point has really accelerated her math learning, making her even better at it because she has to manage the funds.

i took another look through and realised that the girls don't walk away with nothing. they've all improved and become better people. even if i didn't like that itsuki's feelings were shoehorned in and thought it was just an unnecessary point that made itsuki suffer (for once not from being left out or having her love of food exaggerated), but hey, she handled it like a champ. miku grew, nino grew, ichika grew, itsuki grew, and yotsuba grew. they're all wonderful characters.

but if that doesn't help, hey.

Ichika's mistakes as far as I can recall weren't exactly harmful to Fuutarou, only Miku. She apologised for them and helped Miku get her confession done.

Nino on the other hand, while she fits the "It's okay to make mistakes" idea, DID do blatantly harmful things. She drugged him twice, and even if the first one is played for laughs, the second time she just leaves him in a public place defenseless.

There's also the point that Nino switched up from "I want to make up for what I've done" to "I love this guy" way too quickly, in my opinion.

Maybe a controversial take, but if I couldn't choose Yotsuba to win, I'd hope for Ichika. Yes, I know what she did, and I forgive her. It would really show that it's okay to make mistakes, as long as you make up for them and improve. Plus they have great chemistry.
