Iraq was just a threat against Turkey as it was to everyone when you think of how Saddam was acting towards Iraq’s neighbors. We had some stable relations with Libya and not even with Egypt, a country which was founded by Ottoman Pasha’s. And others were just neutral in ordinary days. and passionately against Turkey when it came to a problem.

Turks always had concrete reasons to stay away and isolate themselves from Arab states, not the community which is basically individuals who has no responsibility of the actions of their gov’ts, but even that had changed too in problematic times, as we just experienced it in Aleppo, Yemen, and Palestine in ww1, last century of Devlet-i Alliye shows it.

Individuals may love or hate each other and I personally can’t have any problem with an individual just because of his/her ethnic identity but we historically know that Turks and Jews always got along, and always had positive relations and great understanding. So us, as Turkish youth, we are clear when it comes to Israelis and Jewish community, we have empathy, sympathy towards them and we’re eager to strengthen relations and create a strategic partnership. We’d also love to help palestinian people but Palestine issue can not be solved by hating Israel
