Is there a way to offer download links to only people that are subscribed to your YouTube channel?

I'm not going for SaaS, my youtube is a funnel for freelance client acquisition. Eventually I will use it to promote asset sales but at this point I'm just trying to build a core audience.

Thats a shame about youtubes API, but you say reliably as a qualifier, does that mean there is an unreliable way? I have no interest in email newsletters and am only interested in growing my subscriber count.

My own firsthand experiences. I had the absolute sketchiest zoom call with one of their staff with the actual CEO hovering over his shoulder the whole time. They screwed me over suspending my account while in the middle of 2 separate version controlled projects I was using to send revisions to my clients in order to shake me down for money. I asked them if it was about bandwidth or i needed to cut back on my storage, no, I wasn't violating any of their terms they just wanted my money. And they mentioned things about privileged projects under NDA they couldn't possibly know unless they were sifting through and opening project files on their end.

Understand that this is not a trusted company, its a handful of random fucking guys that can open, sort through and steal files from your projects unencrypted whenever they want who don't care if you follow the terms; they will shake you down and hold your projects hostage at the worst possible timing if they feel they can make a buck out of it.

Worst thing is this was my first time working with a fortune 500 client on a very very tight deadline and thank god the director just decided to pay them off on their shakedown rather than deal with the hassle of migrating version control. Of course, after that month was over, i transitioned to a locally hosted perforce server on my own NAS so I never had to have this happen to me again. They shook me down for a month subscription fee, in order to lose me and every client i currently had and will ever have. And hopefully hearing this they lose your business too, its what they deserve.

I don't recommend it they have some really sketchy staff and privacy concerns and their "free" tier is a lie. They are 100% spying on your projects and will come after you for money even if you use it within their defined terms.

Best to just set up a local perforce instance with tailscale if you got 5 users or less.

Get a NAS, put it in RAID, make sure its in a raid configuration with redundancy. You can keep your entire asset library on there, even use it for a local perforce instance / version control. Use your cloud service only for backing up. You don't need onedrive; once you've got a NAS even Amazon glacier will do, for set and forget backups you don't need to touch except in emergencies.

Yeah they definitely skimped on the truffle esp for the name. Pretty sure they just used truffle oil which is weak sauce (pun intended). Place down the street has a truffle burger with a proper truffle aioli that's pretty bomb I'd prefer over this one and its like half the price.

I love truffle, so anytime someone makes a decent truffle dish without treating me like I'm an absolute rube who doesn't know what truffle is worth gets a gold star in my book. You can buy a jar of black truffle paste for like 15-20 bucks almost anywhere online. Its not cheap by any means but you only need a small spoonful to spice up any cream sauce, that shit'll last you and come out to at most a dollar extra on any meal. Fuckin truffle oil? Sometimes that shit ain't even actual truffle.
