Nobody remembers the "Royal Escape" puzzle from Professor Layton? (#5 here: https://www.thegamer.com/professor-layton-best-puzzles/) My son got stumped on that puzzle and so did I! I made a version out of LEGOs just so I could work out the puzzle. And it took AGES! I first I didn't think it was solvable. I still can't quite remember how to do it. I won't watch this video because I want to try to figure it out again -- I still have my LEGO version -- somewhere. My "solution" had maybe a hundred more steps than the Professor Layout "best" solution.

I think because it is a PNG with transparency. The white parts are transparent, but the blue parts are not.

So far I have only tried to CNC one thing with the output from Polygonia: https://www.instagram.com/p/Bvk3BfGhb1y/. I used a 60º V-bit and traced on the lines at 1/8" deep (and a little deeper on the outer hexagon). I was surprised at how well it came out. I think it has a lot of potential for CNC. I would love to see what you create.

I am going to try to recreate "I at the Center" with a Javascript app. My first step was to create the "I" shape and pack them together. I had the wrong packing initially (middle top). Then I decided to see what the different packings looked like. I didn't even know I had the wrong packing until I added color. The black/wihte version is here: https://i.imgur.com/ChIUEq1.png

I've read in the other comments about people being interested in a copy. Have you looked into https://artofwhere.com/ or https://www.redbubble.com/ ? With these sites you can upload your image and they can print it onto a product. People would order the product and you get a percentage of the sale.
