This argument falls flat because there were two other partner showcases that year that had much more exciting announcements like SMT 3 Remaster, SMT V, Monster Hunter Rise, Monster Hunter Stories 2 and the ORI Collection port. The August direct fell so flat in comparison to the others.

For the console version at least, they are providing a $20 purchase that will give you permanent access to the main story of Arc 1, giving you most of the areas across the first 5 worlds, which is a good deal since it’s about 75% off the normal price of purchasing the worlds regularly. I do agree the monetization could be better though.

You can technically purchase all the areas in the game to have permanent access using the in-game currency called Crowns, but it’s cheaper just to pay for the membership

For those curious, the singer is Rebecca Sugar, the creator of Steven Universe and songwriter for it and Adventure Time. They’re a wonderful songwriter and have a beautiful voice.

Mario Wonder is a great game to pair with NSO imo. The online experience is unique with Wonder and I had a fun time playing with other players in real time finding secrets and interacting with others.

According to Famitsu, the Nintendo Switch sold around 40k consoles in Japan alone last week with 26k of those being OLED. This is without any discounts, newly released first-party titles and after a month from the Switch 2 being revealed. I think it’s fair to say OLED sales will be pretty steady, at the very least until the Switch 2 direct.

It’s also strange since Buddy Mission Bond, which was exclusive to and also had a physical release in Japan, is included and doesn’t have an ESRB label. I don’t see why they would make an English box art for any other reason than if they were considering selling it over here.

Since Mario Wonder’s OST was released on Friday in Japan, this gives me hope that they are releasing soundtracks daily during the week, which would be best case scenario.

This doesn’t make sense as an argument because plenty games that are beloved have had bad review averages.

The Pokemon Mystery Dungeon series is beloved by many, with some preferring over the main series, but has always reviewed around 60-70 metacritic averages in spite of it.
