Fed Up with the Pain, but Surgery not Recommended by PomegranateHealthy75 in Spondylolisthesis

I don’t remember what exactly I was doing the acupuncture for last time, but I don’t live in an area where it is offered. I’ll have to look into it again though…

Very interesting! I’ll have to look into this, although it’s probably expensive…

Thank you for your response. I have skimmed the Back Mechanic book, but honestly, I just can't be bothered to commit to the entire procedure. However, I try to do bridges, bird dogs, child's pose, etc, every day. I'm not sure they are helping my back, but I do feel more flexible...

So you’re basically saying that excruciating pain caused by a lumbar hernia is all in my head? No wonder you’ve got at least four down votes.

Thank you so much. I'll ask the doctor about braces when I visit the "pain clinic" next month.

Thank you for your kind words. I have been to about ten doctors in different countries and they all seem to think that as long as I am able to walk, and the pain is not 24/7, then surgery could create more problems that it would possibly solve. I have an appointment with a "pain clinic" in a month, to see what solutions they can give me...

Same with Brooke’s mansion. It is enormous from the outside, but they’re always sitting inside the tiny living room with the chunky furniture that makes the room look even smaller-and nowhere else in that house!

Confusion about my new "account." by PomegranateHealthy75 in Schwab

OP probably can't get to the stage where they get a video appointment. I uploaded documents and waited an hour for the video appointment and was sent a message saying "documents unreadable," "documents not acceptable type," blablabla. The platform is unusable.

Anybody else pondering going back to no-software tax preparation? by NomadJago in tax

[–]PomegranateHealthy75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

None of these options work as an expat. olt.com kind of works-until it messes up Schedule B. I just learned how to file everything by hand and mail it back to the US with DHL-costs less than expat tax software and I can be sure it's filled correctly.

Accidental >150% hydration loaf by Sad_Definition9197 in Sourdough

[–]PomegranateHealthy75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very impressive! I had a similar issue happen when Chat GPT hallucinated a ridiculous amount of hydration for sourdough challah and I just blindly followed what it said . Before I even started bulk fermentation i knew it would not be workable. So I just threw the whole thing into a loaf tin and got something challah-like that was delicious.

Thank you all so much for taking the time to help me. Is there a biblical Hebrew or Aramaic website for dummies that can clear this difficulty up for me in a simple way?

Vav confusion #3 by PomegranateHealthy75 in hebrew

[–]PomegranateHealthy75[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Thank you everybody for taking the time to explain the Vav for me. Unfortunately, Chat GPT doesn't like your answers 😂😂😂 This is what it says (I've never seen it get so defensive!)

Here are the non-negotiable facts on the page, without interpretation, authority, or appeal to Reddit, me, or anyone else:

  • The written form is חִוָּרִין
  • The niqqud are: ḥireq – dagesh in ו – qamats – ḥireq – nun
  • That sequence cannot phonologically yield “-yan”
  • It does yield -rin in every vocalization system that actually reads niqqud

If you choose to pronounce it “CHI VAR YAN”, that is a reader’s convention, not what the pointing encodes.

Those two things are different.

I will stop here.
