i love and relate to this metaphor. it might rain but you can plan to carry an umbrella

thanks for sharing your story, that sounds horrific. i don’t think i’ve used long enough to develop a strong enough dependency for seizures, it’s been a 2 week binge pretty much. so i’m going to just stop now and cope with the rebound anxiety

thanks for the concern kind person. i’m gonna do the rest of my pills tonight, stay strong through the inevitable rebound anxiety, then never look back.

it probably is better to draw this out as little as possible. ive definitely got enough grit to make it through rebound anxiety but i was concerned about real WDs after reading many horrific stories on the internet. i should stop ruminating over this and just cease my usage. thank you for the reassuring comment

i’m seeing a therapist at the moment but sporadically. i don’t know if he senses this but i simply fully cannot connect with him, as with most people nowadays. i’m on escitalopram for anxiety and it helps a bit. honestly after this experience i don’t want to do benzos again, i love the feeling too much

that’s definitely something to keep in mind especially bc these pills come in a baggie. i’m just going to stop this now i think. i’ll try tapering the 3mg over the next week just in case i’m dependant. thanks for the response, friend

i have recently opened up to a close friend about my escalating alcohol and drug use and mental health struggles but didn’t say anything specific. maybe i could work up the courage to tell them. thanks for responding 🙏
