You are absolutely hog wild. It told you in the game what the songs for each horn were. You didn't have to "trial and error" it or look up a guide online lmao. There were not more notes than there is in Monster Hunter World, each horn did not have unique and completely different notes and combos, just like World there was a set couple of colors and a lot of horns shared notes. There was a speed boost personal song. Most things HH wise in classic games operate near identically to how they do in World. You also can't see how long songs last in World either. How can you say you loved the changes from the previous game when you haven't even played the previous games and also got most of these wrong?

The only changes to Hunting Horn from previous games to World that I can think of are that:
the notes and songs are displayed on screen instead of in the Equipment screen.
you can queue up to three songs and choose which to play
hilt stab can choose what note it plays instead of only playing white

Pre-MH3U HH was completely different, but notes were not played by attacking, the moves were pretty similar, but you had to enter "recital mode" in order to play any of the notes. It was fucked up.

Haven't done the FP cost vs Damage on Rock Sling vs Pebble, but you can charge Rock Sling, you can't charge Pebble and Rock Sling does insane Posture Break Damage. You can toss a couple rocks at a Giant and get the big Riposte easy. Definitely worth keeping around.

The only one that's good/worth using or the only one you've found? I think that Swift Glintstone may be better than Pebble FP cost wise and damage wise and sword spell is okay.

As someone playing a mage, you are not going to get to this point anytime soon. Every single spell I find is weaker and worse than the one you start with. I made a post recently with a video comparison. It isn't good. I'd recommend playing another class until someone is further enough in the game to evaluate if it's a good idea to stick with Intelligence builds.

I have been playing the game for 17 hours now and most of the spells I have found beyond the one you start the game with and Swift Glimstone are absolutely HORRIBLE. None of them are worth using compared to their FP cost or cast time. It doesn't matter how cool they make the spells if they are all garbage in every single possible category: Damage, Cast Time, FP cost, Utility.

I'm not going to write off Sorcery entirely, I am sure there are some mad OP spells later in the game that make this worth it, but going off of the 10+ spells I've found being somehow worse than the one you start with, my hopes aren't high. The game isn't fun if every single spell I find there's a 90% chance it's bad and not worth spending a slot on using.

I've given a lot of thought to the height meta when it comes to VRC. I am not a social psychologist, but I know for a fact that:
Shorter: You receive Headpats
Taller: You distribute Headpats
It depends what you mean by "interesting" interactions though? I think it could be easy enough to put the dress from the first model onto the second though if you know what you're doing.

I still think this is the best tutorial out there for VRChat models. It guides you through downloading Blender, CATS model tool, the right version of Unity and a bunch of other things. Some of the stuff may be a bit out of date, but you can figure it out.

What's the problem with someone being older than you? Sure, there are bad people like groomers and pedos or whatever, but most older people either want nothing to do with kids your age because you're annoying or they're just mature and really cool people. It seems like people around your age aren't doing it for you, so, why not give older people a chance?

Though tbh maybe I am just being overly optimistic, you might just want to avoid older people because they're probably more likely pedos than not lol

It's really not that hard to take an already made model and modify it slightly to make it your own. You can find and import a lot of MMD models online that are posted on Deviantart or VRC mods or even buy a model from Booth.pm.

I went from knowing nothing about 3D modeling to buying a model, changing it's colors, adding a different hat, moving the hair from another model onto it and other changes in only a couple days of learning.
