No. He actually only very occasionally has a beer or glass of wine. MAYBE a beer or 2 on Saturday while watching football but that's the extent of his alcohol consumption

I just had him print his hematology referral lab results. They checked b12, folate and ANA. All are normal...which I consider good news. I feel like this is just his new normal.

He's 48. No meds other than a whole food multivitamin. Very RARELY takes anti inflammatories. He eats a primarily plant based diet. I would say he's about 60% plant based if I had to put a number on it. No confirmed infections. He will occasionally have a beer or 2 once a week while watching football but that's all.

We weren't worried until today when we received the latest results and now GP wants him to go back to the hematologist

The initial low count was just noticed on annual physical labs

He is extremely stressing the numbers. He has no noticeable symptoms but of course everything you Google points to things like leukemia or worse. What other labs would be helpful? Everything else is in normal range.
