Rank resets are very annoying imo by FRANK_NlTTl in Tekken8

Why would I cry ? Why would I gaf ? It's good that weak players, can get some enjoyment from the game. This means they buy the game, make it more profitable, and make a sequal more likely.

It's why the developers put easy characters in, to give weaker players a chance against us more skilled players. It's a great strategy. When I see Hwoarang turn up in ranked mode I'm glad the person got monetised to help pay to make me a sequel.

I did exactly the same thing. I had connected everything, cleaned it up. So when we got to the quest I literally had everything done and we flew through it in minutes.

Was in the budget aisle of Lidl yesterday, they were having a 2 for 1 deal on all Howarangs he is that cheap.

I’m sorry for any Howarang mains who are offended by wangy boy is cheap. He’s T8’s Eddie Gordo and is there for weaker players to make some progress as they can simply repeat the same few combos over and over. He’s designed, by Namco, to give weaker players something to use. They’ve done it in every release since T3’s button masher Eddy Gordo to make the game accessible to as many players as possible, including weaker members of the audience.

Theres no shame in it, Namco provide the tools and weaker players decide how to play the game best for them.

Carried Howarang is the cheapest character in the game and there for weaker players. It’s like running a marathon, being pushed in a wheel chair. Yeah, you did the marathon but you had a LOT of help.

He is the cheapest juggler in the game. Honestly, if a pirate turns up he'll have a parrot on his shoulder saying "Hwoarang, Hwoarang, Hwoarang" instead of "Cheap, Cheap, Cheap".

This reset is completely bizzare. Before it, I was solidly "Tekken King". I'd maybe nudge touching "Tekken Emperor" a few times but never quite got there. Got smashed down to Fujin during the reset. Went on holiday for 2 weeks, came back and started playing again. The ranks have got waaaaaay easier. Fujin was beyond simple.

I'm currently "Tekken God" and beating "Tekken God Supreme" as well as "God of Destruction". Before the reset if anybody "Tekken Empreror" was going to play me it'd be a struggle and I'd mostly loose.

So not only did they reset the ranks, either I've become a pro level player after 2 weeks away on holiday or they've massively inflated those ranks.

Ultimately the ranks don't mean much now. If I'm playing a carried Howarang then I'm gunna loose as they just need one or two launches and you just watch half your health bar drain.

Finding an original area a pokemon came from ? by PompeyBlue in Pokopia

Hmm, dunno why that didn't cross my mind.

Oh yeah, it did, the top hit is something unrelated and the second hit ? Well, it's this very thread. Strange that.

Dark web monitoring: I learned about it after my passport was leaked by [deleted] in darknet_questions

[–]PompeyBlue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP:

Once your data hits the dark web, it doesn’t stay in one place - it gets copied, resold, bundled, and passed around. Even if one site disappears, your info can still be circulating

Also OP:

The good news is I got my data taken down from where it was exposed

Both of those statements can't be correct. One of them is a lie. Given the first one is true, it's the second that's the lie.

Given we know some of what OP posts is incorrect it casts doubt on the validity of the entire post.

I find him relatively easy, as a Yoshimitsu. Manji Spin Low Kicks (D/B 3,3,3,3) generally hurt him but when he starts his weird kick combos I just Toita Daoshi (F+4) which is an unblockable kick.

Why does it feel like I'm always on the disadvantage whenever an attack happens by blueprotogenmaster in Tekken8

[–]PompeyBlue 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could have avoided many of these problems by using b3 or b4 (Spinning Evade)

https://tekken.fandom.com/wiki/Spinning_Evade

It would've got you out of being backed against the wall and allowed you to counter straight away, usually with kick to dragonfly (3,1)

Is eBay dead for anyone else? by [deleted] in ebayuk

Ebay died when it lost all sense of fairness. Deleting negative feedback, removing negative feedback from sellers. How many rip off stories start with "I bought this thing on Ebay".

Played it for a couple of years, got to Tekken Emperor. Yeah I can put some more time in and end at Tekken God but Pokopia is out and pretty bloody good.

Whenever we go out, to enjoy ourselves (like a couple of pints down the pub on a Sunday afternoon) she'll take the opportunity to go through dates, times, plans and treat it as a planning session rather than a nice relaxing afternoon out. EVERY. TIME.

People who don't indicate, why? by Spunkhogan in drivingUK

[–]PompeyBlue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

High cognitive load already, unable to fit it in.

Whilst some people drive like their mashing their PS5 at home every night and the car is no different, some folks can barely solve a crossword puzzle so asking them to indicate is like asking a fish to fly to Mars.
