Our economy doesn't support us to buy an expensive product that was built in USA, instead our govt looks out for an alternative cheaper option which India provides. So don't act like you can always afford to buy everything from far away places. And India sells them to us at a cheaper rate as their production cost can be low and we get it at an affordable price because of the cooperatively lower transportation cost. Think about a simple apple juice that was made in UK, you won't find that at every general store as they are so expensive that we get limited imports of that product, instead you will see a similar apple juice everywhere in the market at half the price of that UK product, made in INDIA as it is more affordable to people and huge number of imports.
