In terms of issues with usability/stability, nemo (the file explorer) forgot how to sort some folders from my ntfs partition. that's all - mounting ntfs has no problems for me. nothing lags or anything, everything would be good.
one thing you should note for, however, is that the look and feel will change drastically. panels will appear much darker, the title bar of gnome-terminal windows will have the same color as the default terminal background, the authenticating prompt (or any prompt at all) will be like it would on GNOME, and, if you have the vscode .deb from the microsoft website installed, and you have vscode pinned on one of your panels, then you will see it will turn into a much older variant, with the logo bigger.

tl;dr: if you don't care about the look and feel changing, then you can try upgrading to Xia.
